People of legal age – The person applying must be of legal age (21 years) or be emancipated.
Families – Includes families of a single person or a group of people who live together without being genetically related to each other.
Low-income people – As a general rule, to be eligible for these aids it is necessary that 75% of the applicants have an “extremely low” income. The rest of the applicants may come from “very low” incomes.
Citizens – The person applying must have legal residency or US citizenship.
People who have not committed certain crimes – For a person to be eligible they cannot have committed any violent crime or offense related to controlled substances
People who have not been previously evicted – The applicant cannot have been evicted due to non-payment of rental fees
